The Permasteelisa Group establishes Permasteelisa Japan K.K. as its Japanese subsidiary in Iidabashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

The Japan head office is relocated to Honshiocho in Shinjuku-ku

An Interior business handling shop facades and interiors is started

An absorption-type merger is carried out with Gartner Japan K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of German company Josef Gartner GmbH, a fellow member of the Permasteelisa Group

The Japan head office is relocated to Gobancho in Chiyoda-ku

The Permasteelisa Group is acquired by LIXIL Corporation and its subsidiary Permasteelisa Japan K.K. falls under the umbrella of the LIXIL Group.

Due to the LIXIL Group selling all shares in Permasteelisa S.p.A, Permasteelisa Japan K.K. leaves the Permasteelisa Group and becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of LIXIL Corporation
